Directions to Mount Magazine
From:
Fort Smith, Arkansas
Travel State Hwy 22 East to Paris, then turn south (right) onto
State Hwy 109/309 South. Watch out for the intersection of 309 & 109
south of town, it's in a curve and can sneak up on you! Take 309 to the
left and it goes past Scenic Cove Lake and to the top of the mountain.
From:
Little Rock, Arkansas
Travel State Hwy 10 West through Danville to Havana, then turn north (right) onto
State Hwy 309 North. Havana is only 10 miles from the top using 309 and provides the most
scenic approach to the top of the mountain. The view on the way up is breath-taking.

Russellville, Arkansas
Travel State Hwy 7 South to Dardanelle and then IGNORE THE SIGNS and turn LEFT on Hwy 7 and then
right on State Hwy 27 to Danville (The signs point you down Hwy 22 to Paris which is a longer
and less scenic route to the top). At Danville you turn right onto State Hwy 10 to Havana and there
you are only 10 beautiful miles on State Hwy 309 from the top.

Hot Springs, Arkansas
Travel State Hwy 7 North to Ola and then turn right on Hwy 10 to Danville.
At Danville follow Hwy 10 through town turning right at the intersection, and then
you stay on State Hwy 10 to Havana. From there
you are only 10 beautiful miles on State Hwy 309 from the top.
